How has being a GSF (or Women's Studies) graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"As a history major (and women's studies minor), I studied the intersection of race and gender and wrote my thesis on a race riot that took place in Wilmington, NC in 1898. I am now an employment attorney litigating discrimination cases and bring my knowledge and experience from my degree to my cases."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Gender, Sexuality & Feminist Studies programs?

"Study what you are passionate about and focus on what is intellectually engaging in deciding your next step."
