Vanessa holds a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences from UC Berkeley, and is part of the founding collective of the Queer Ecojustice Project, educating and organizing at the intersection of ecological justice and queer liberation. Through interviews with queer and trans people immediately following disaster and one year later, the film explores the impacts of climate change on LGBTQ communities, and how we build resilience using our community's unique knowledge of what it takes to change, transition, and survive. Please RSVP on the DukeGSF Facebook Event page or email gsfs@duke.edu
