Claire Scott received her B.A. in German Studies with minors in English and History from Dartmouth College in 2011. Before starting her graduate studies in the Carolina-Duke program, she received a Fulbright grant and spent a year living in Munich, taking classes and doing research on the postwar memoirs of German-Jewish women. Her dissertation deals with adaptations of the Medea myth in 20th Century German literature and film. She is also currently working towards the Certificate in Feminist Studies at Duke. In her spare time Claire enjoys hiking and going to the movies or the theater.
